PB is a Failure !!

This is just ridiculous

When Bad Company 2 first came out it was full of bugs to where it was'nt even playable, then they started making things right by doing updates and fixing a few bugs a little at a time, then when it gets to where it's playable Punk Buster starts banning legit customers, They have banned over 100 legit people including myself & my 13 year old nephew which actually just got the game and signed up, then connected to the first server he has ever connected to and baaammm he gets banned within 20 sec's.

Theres alot of people getting this and there all raising hell me included, and we all are getting the same kick message that you will see below from a guy who actually got his banned removed, out of all the people complaining he is the only one so far to get his ban lifted.

I appealed the ban but it was useless he said that PB has stoped them from lifting any bans until they can figure out what the problem is but until then they would not lift it and that it may never be lifted, Well with my blood boiling i simply told him what PB could do so now i may never get lifted on account of me showing my A$$

I don't know where this was taken from originaly but someone posted it in the forum i was reading about all this, This is the only guy who has got his ban lifted so far, I did not get Hendrik T i had some guy named adam.

Sorry but i don't even know what a aimbot is or even does, i do use some other programs while playing such as gamespy, comrade, xfire, teamspeak3, ventrillo etc... but thats it, maybe something else could have caused this ?

I had to buy another CD Key from EA and create a new account in order to be able to play again, So this means my level 16 is all gone, same for all my unlocks. :mad:

And for everyone who i play BC2 with look for a new friend request !

I had a good friend who could make a website dissapear in about 15 min's fortunately for PB he died in a car crash a few weeks back.

I think aimbot is a hack where no matter what direction you point your gun you always get a headshot on someone that is in your view. I played the last night on 4 servers, and on all of them I keep seeing ppl getting ban for aimbot. I thought PB was working good. Know I wondering whats going on, is it safe to play right now. If i get ban for something like that, I will not be paying another $50 for it.
I like all the weapons, and map layouts, and game play. I do not care for all the power ups, its why i stop playing 2142, and so did everyone eles. You can not go up against higher ranks, you will lose.
I hope this game will get better.

Yea i know what an aimbot is, That was the person that got his ban lifted stating to PB that he did'nt even know what it was.

I can still play on Non PB Servers with my old account with no problems but since i can never use my old account on another PB Server i'm not gonna bother with it anymore, i'll just use my new Nick and CD Key, and even then i want be playing on PB servers until they get this resolved.

One things for sure if i ever have to deal with this crap again then i'll be seeing PB in court.

PJ i don't have a clue as to what they picked up on and they obviously
don't either, but at the time i had xfire, teamspeak3, ventrillo, razer, and my soundcard software running in the background.

I also use the memory optimizer in a program called win utilities just before a game to clear unused memory data that previous programs leave behind, so this may or maynot have had anything to to with it.

Sounds like an unfair game from the start by giving the advantage to the player who has played longer then a noob, by giving better items to someone that should already be a better payer because hell know the maps were to hide and what to look for more then the noob,that in itself is enough of an advantage.
with all the input and negative feed back about BC i know im not buying it.
want to wish all of you who did, all the luck with it and hope they get it all fixed soon.

LoL yea you dog :D, i was just reading after i made this thread about how consoles don't use PB, but the graphics suck opposed to PC in my option i have seen it on a console and after actually playing it on PC it does'nt compare in the least, besides i could never get used to console controlers.

Heres an idea for a game you start out with everything and as you level up you lose stuff,
afterall as you get better you should not need all the extra stuff.
that way the novice players stand a chance to up grade.
If the top players complain, well guess what the novice player will level up faster meaning they also lose power ups. by later levels everyone is at an equal!!!!

Frankly, I think a lawsuit is in order. That would put the burden of proof on them to prove you used the "cheat" that you were supposedly caught with.
Submit to the courts your PC and challange them to prove that you have the said cheat program on it. Also name EA in the suit so they will have to spend money with they legal team to defend against it. I'm sure some lawyer seeing a way to make a quick buck from your pain and anguish (worth at least a few million I would guess). Maybe even take it to a class action level considering how many have been banned by faulty PB software.

This is the whole reason I ditched 2142..... And BF2 is about to become 12gauge fodder..... I get kicked by PB on BF2 every other game... I hate PB...
I understand your Frustration...Almost think I would rather deal w/ the hackers just to be able to play a few games w/o interruption..JK..... I totally agree with Mytrap... I totally lost interests when I got to lvl 25. I got tired of the BS! Example lvl 50 so called better armor & items takes more to kill like 3 knife or shot at there feet with a 40MM & live? That told me this is bs!

I unlocked everything in the game at level low 20 something once you have unlocked everything you have everything a lvl 50 does.
