I think I have just found the mother load of MAPS for AIX2.
Give this site a look over....

They have about 120maps for AIX2 and some of them are a BLAST!!!.
Just downloaded Mashtuur City, OMG LMAO you will not beleive me even if I told you what is on this map but I will give you a clue.
It's out of this world ;)
That map has got to be put into the rotation it's way too much FUN not to be able to play it online LOL!!!!
Download it and play it for your selfs and trust me you will have the same addiction to this map as I now have. :D:D:D:D:D:D

Sorry forgot to say the map you will need is called "=WH= Mashtuur City" on page one of the maps!!!

There are about 15 of the things from pics 1 and 2 to play about in and yes they realy can be flown.
they are also 2 seaters!!!

The Mashtuur City map comes as a self extracting program and there are a few files to this map.
The best way to install this map is to create a "new folder" on drive C:
Then tell the extraction program to extract to that folder.
once all has been extracted, open up the folder and you will see another folder called "mashtuur_city" plus three other files called.
"wh_client", "wh_menu_client" & "wh_server"
Sellect all four items and paste into your game folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\AIX2\Levels (64 bit PC's)
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\AIX2\Levels (32 bit PC's)
Sorry can't remember windows 7 layout.

The files must be placed into the "Levels" folder.
You can only play this map in COOP mode so if you want to try it out.
Create a local server and make sure you put the settings to COOP
you will then be able to test the map out with as many or few of bots as you want to.

Tiny... got it working, had let it install (default) to the 32 bit address.

Little bit of learning Win 7 and voila, copy/pasted the right address into the install GUI and voila!>.. it works!

(with a local server running)


I vote add this to the rotation for AIX!!!!

The UFO is a trip... not quite helicopter, not quite harrier... worthless 2ndary gun (least we can't hit anything) but the main is a heavy hitter on ground targets... still not sure how an enemy Little Bird can take 5 hits from it but it is like playing horseshoes for decimating ground troops... close counts :)

I recently got Windows 7 and now i have problem with adding new maps to my BF2 map-list:( There is no such levels or mods folder as Windows Vista had.Now there is only EA games-EA games-bf2-(no mods or levels folder in it).Do i have to create these folders or what...?:confused: And is it normal that there are 2 "EA games" folders(one folder in other)?:confused:.Please help!!!

The path is still the same on Win7, nothing changed. Looks like you installed it in the wrong folder or sth like that.

Where does the UFO spawn? Can't find it.....

There are 6 spawn points if you can find them all, here are 3 locations....
1. Main base for the USA start point.
2. At the top of the big tall bridge on the USA side, under this is where the warthog spawns.
3. The petrol station that is the enemy base on the hill.

Now you find the rest. ;)
