I've heard from the Englishman at work that British cuisine is all lung, tongue and bung, smothered in gravy. I can think of a lot of other things i'd rather eat lol. Partial to Italian and Mexican myself.

We blokes at the work place like to send out a brave delegate occasionally to hit up the Taco Truck (El Cazador #3... translates, The Hunter #3)... when weather be a bit chilly...
when warm, we go and stand in line at (literally) a truck to get food you just won't find at a Tex Mex fast food like Taco Bell...
it is good!
The menu is Spanish or English... I'm an embarrassed hillbilly from TN and only know 1 speak tone... American English (not to be confused with the Queen's!)... but they humor us and serve us what we order.
The meat selection is the best part: Tacos, Mulitos, you name it... platters or snacks... but the meats... Beef is a staple of course but they offer spicy beef (hamburger meat), beef tongue, beef cheek (tried it, too fatty)... as well as spicy pork (need to try!)... and pollo (chicken). Think they have 1-3 more I'm forgetting.
I'm a 3:1 chicken man, but I gotta have some red meat occasionally (moo baby, moo!).
It is not fouled up Americanized food... cilantro is on everything but it doesn't taste like soap... few places I've ever eaten offer authentic cilantro green stuff on the food without ruining it...
El Cazador.
The Hunter.
I may just have to change my online persona from Teeeman to ElCazador.

your lucky Teeman,im jealous now,we have nothing like that here,if you go to our version of a Taco Truck, its usually a converted caravan serving deep fried everything and there's little or no variation between caravans, hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, fried breakfast's,rolls on egg, sausage, bacon, potatoe scone or all three on one roll,a heart attack in a bun,Scotland has a dreadful diet and if you ate what was on offer as a matter of course you will be dead by 50,on the name change,i like it,that has a ring to it too,ElCazador!!!!! the bot hunter, now you need to find an avatar to fit?

I like some soul food (country cooking), venison (that I killed), Italian, Mexican, Seafood, Asian, Sushi, grilled and bbq food (especially a steak)! I like all that good stuff!
I don't like Fast food places. Especially mcdonalds! I wouldn't eat that crap for free (sorry mytrap)!
