Me and My Friend Got Banned

Hey, earlier today me and my friend KrayzRyan got banned for Teamkill.

We were only Teamkilling each other and no one else, as i went round his with my pc for the day, we started having a laugh while waiting for the helicopter and what we did was teamkill EACH OTHER no one else but EACH OTHER.

So please can you unban us?

The server we got banned on was

Team Kill is a Team Kill, no matter how you put it, there is a rule on Team Server, no Team Killing, and the server will kick/ban for TKing

A teamkill is a teamkill, Even tho you were'nt actually tk'ing other players the server does'nt know you and a friend were joking around, Besides thats still not acceptable here, And by the way i'm gonna take a hunch and guess your in game name is jimbalyis ?

It's a total shame that no one bothers to read the text at the top of the screen.
Because if you had you would have noticed that TeamKills will get you banned.
After all if it was a vote if you could stay or not I would probably have to say NO as how do I know it would never happen again (just for laughs as you put it)
Team Kills are not for a laugh.
Another thing whilst I'm having a moan. :D
why do some people not bother to squad up.
If your a commander unsquaded players do not here the Artillery warning.

Besides, playing around shooting at each other waiting for a chopter to spawn is not really helping your team to win, there are times when it takes awhile for them to spawn, either call for a ride or take another means of transport and get out there and help the team clear the flags.

If that's your idea of a laugh, you're in the wrong place.
I personally don't care whether you were teamkilling your buddy, me, the pope, or the squad's pet goat.
Teamkill = ban

May i also add you all keep moaning about Team Kill, if you didnt want people Team Killing why have Friendly Fire on in the first place?

When is comes to playing on Team Nitro server, we do take it serious, not having friendly fire on would take the fun out of it IMO.

i used to throw my action man (uk version of GI JOE not the CGI film version) out the window in his red devils outfit and he had a parachute which never worked,poor old action man.yes he was a doll but you could dress him up as a werhmacht soldier,canadian mounty,scuba diver,a GI,and yes my wars were a bit made up but hey thats what childhood and imagination is for,still off the ciggys too :)

If you haven't read This Post (http://team-nitro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=230) yet, I suggest you do before before replying again. Particularly the first two lines. Ask again in 30 days . . . . or don't. Those are your options. Exploring any options other than those two will probably shorten your lifespan on the website as quickly as your buddy shortened it for you in the game.

Although you may find it fun to TK, it still hurts the team over all, as each time you or your buddy TK each other, it reduces the tic marks for your side by one. We do have fun and don't take the game THAT seriously, but anything that hurts other players, or the team, are not tolerated.

I've done my share of goofing around in this game, but not at the expense of other players or the team. As I said before, each TK makes your team one point closer to losing the round, that's why we just don't put up with it here.

From what Kilemal said, it doesn't sound like your ban is permanent, but you will be still be off for a while.

If/when you do come back, just remeber that these servers operate with an air of comraderie, co-operation, and above all TEAM-WORK. Keep those in mind and you'll be welcome here, go against those ideals and you'll be shown the door.

here is the deal luke even though you and your friend were only tking each other and it may have seemed funny to you two at the time but it isn't a good example to other players who don't understand that you are friends just being funny with each other. on top of this there are several factors: you have been around our site for awhile so you should know that we don't allow tk's and that people get banned for them, tking even in good natured fun shouldn't be done in a actual game server unless something is specifically set up for it because it disrupts the game for admin and other players. I shouldn't have to spend my whole game figuring out if a player is just playing around or not. we set rules for a reason and those that play here we ask to be responsible enough to follow those rules whether they agree with them or not.

it sounds like kil is willing to possibly give you another chance after a month break take that as a good sign and go with the flow.

I hope you all come back to play on the [Team] Servers after bans. No one wants to ban anyone at anytime, but in some situations a ban is a must, and sometimes you get a warning, kick, probation ban, or permanent ban! It's usually an intentional kill that will get you in the most trouble, especially killing for transport and other b.s.! Anyhow, hope to see yall back.

Well, I have to say that since I have been playing BF2 and seen my share of comments from people that have been banned, this is actually a pleasant surprise. A lot of people would get mad and lash out at server admins and server owners for that matter. I know that he did say we take things seriously and that it's just a game and all, but other than a few questionable statements like that he seems to understand the deal. Luke, I do hope that you do come back around and play here because you seem like a reasonable person. I will look forward to playing with you in the future.

As for people here taking things so seriously, just remember that a few of these people on here especially the ones with the [TEAM] tag put A LOT of time and effort into making this place so great! These folks have jobs, and families, but make this available for all of us to enjoy. Along with running the game servers, the private ranking system, and website have to be managed and this all takes a lot of money, effort, and time. Donations help, but the time and effort that these people put into this is worth a lot more than $300 per month.

Anyway, keep trying to get in and play on the [TEAM] site. If I know one thing about these folks on here, it's that they have big hearts and tend to forgive and forget most things. Trust me, this is truly a great place to play!

I respect you for posting your thoughts here and also for understanding and receiving constructive criticism from all of us. I am a nobody here, but I consider these people here to be my friends and they just want to make sure that it remains a fun place for everyone! Good Luck! :)

Btw this isnt Lukebaylis this is his friend KrayzRyan who made this topic, im just to lazy to make an account but im going to make one now, but jimbaylis is luke's dad not mine :P.

Also i understand that Team have put alot of effort into this clan and i respect them for it as its a very good clan, and i enjoy playing on their servers.

Luke, the TEAM-servers are special, if you play for a while, you will notice that. For me, I only have fun by playing "seriously", keeping the rules. Do you ever tried to play poker (or any other game) without keeping the rules?

By the way, I don't want to make a TEAM-server to a stat-padding server ;)

i say let him back (just getting my 2 cents worth btw) but keep a close and strict eye on him. if he does it again, permanent ban because he knows better now
