Project Reality is now running (I think) on ip 207.210.253.104

I had a lot of trouble getting this co-op mod to work, but it appears to be running now. It doesn't seem to play well with the BF2CC so it's hard for me to tell if its running correctly or not. I don't even have this mod installed on my pc yet so could someone who knows they have a working copy of the PRSP client please jump in there and check it out ?

HI Kilemal: I have try logging in PRSP server, but i could not start the game. every time it finished loading the map and i try to get in bad connection comes and lost connection. i have try 3 or 4 times. same thing happen.
Note: i used XP SP3 :confused:

so did you take it off and put up forgotten hope again? I was just looking at the home page and noticed the last one said fh and I didn't see a project reality.

I tried, but Forgotten Hope is fubar'd too. I think one of those two mods messed up the standard game installation. I'll replace the entire game this weekend.

yeah I know bill's been waiting for months to play project reality on our servers...you should have seen his eyes light up when I said kil had mentioned he had put a server up for it.

In that case I probably have some bad news about Project Reality . . . .

I went to their forums a few days ago to see if I could dig up any information about what it's problem is. The game starts up fine and says it's running, when someone joins, it loads the map but as soon as they push the "Join" button the server restarts. I know a lot of people who are running PRSP but they're all doing it on Windows servers.

The PR Forums gave me the impression that posting there would be a waste of time, ie: no responses from the developers to posts from people having problems with it . . .

Several posts were from people trying to run the mod on different flavors of linux and having exactly the same problem I'm having. The posts were pretty old, with no responses.

Not looking good for Project Reality.

Is it now playable?


Will this server show up at the top of the home page like the other servers?

(P.S. 2 things, can't find EOD server today, really going into w/drawal for it having gotten a test-run at 4 a.m. last night... it rocks!... and, I officially apologize to anyone I've hit "no forgive" on by accident, I have a personal 100% forgiveness policy for anything but repeated and flagrant teamkilling... I'm a clutz and getting used to a new keyboard and have simply gotten excited in gameplay and hit the wrong button ... cheers all! )

Project Reality seems to have issues with Linux based operating systems. Not sure if we'll be able to run it or not, but as of now it appears probably not.

Eve of Destruction has been turned off (temporarily at least) while I address other issues.
