I'm banned

I'm banned for too much teamkills. I read an understand (and subscribe) the terms of Kilemal in thies thread.

The reason was (I think so, because I did not found the ban-list with the reason, but I got a message in the screen), that I was not careful enough driving a tank, and it seems, that I have killed at least one player too much.
For sure: I hate it, when I'm playing and lay down in the mud to hide myself for enemies and get dead, because a ruthless driver of MY team kills me....

It should be no excuse, but it was a map (don't know the name this moment), where we start in the near of the only bridge, an I haven't seen the teammates that lay down infront of the bridge there in the grass :(

If I notice, that I caused an injury, I get of my car/tank or whatever and heal the wounds, if I can (if I am a medic).

So: please excuse my careless driving. I hope, that this will never happen again, but be sure: I never do that with intention!

Sounds pretty simply to me. The game log says that just before you were banned you had 4 teamkills, 6 team damage, and 6 team vehicle damage in less than a complete round.

This is just my personal opinion here, but whatever was going on with you in that round was a little more serious than bad tank driving. You're going to have to do a little better than "I ran over a teammate by accident."

You intentionally teamkilled one of my admins to get a vehicle, and as far as I'm concerned, you're ban is appropriate and permenant.

I told you, what happend of my sight (sorry for my bad english). If you can, show into the logs of other rounds. Maybe my stats: TK in relation to playhours.

Thats a pitty for me, I loved to play on the TEAM-Server.

And I have to contradict to that admin: I NEVER teamkill to get a vehicle or get any other advantages!!! That's not true and not fair to claim that.

Your teamkills in relation to play hours is actually very good. I'm asking myself why in this one round you all of a sudden started teamkilling to get the tank?

I will talk to the admin involved and unless they have a reason I shouldn't do it, your ban will not be permenant. There will be a ban, but probably not a permenant one.

zwerghirsch,hello...glad to see your not perm banned,things happen in the games that sometimes are unfortunate,we cant let the teamkilling get out of hand here,or no one will have fun,that is why we have strict rules for this.you are relitively new here so some of us dont know how u play but i think you now know that keeping the dervits from ruining this site is so important..see you at the front.

Yap. There a bunch of reasons, that this makes very amazing, especially for me.

I will give you some other facts:

[...]I AM a teamplayer, otherwise I couldn't make my job. I know, I was too careless in that round, and as I said, I know, that I caused at least one accident with a tank or MTW. But there is no way for me to kill intentionally a member of my team!

Here's anotherone: I am an ingame-admin of a small german BF2-Server (see my profile here: http://onlynoobsgerman.on.funpic.de/board/index.php?page=User&userID=4). Who think, that I could become a ingame-admin, if I do not use to play fair? I'm playing at a TEAM-Server, because our server isn't active and I looked for a fine server, where teamplaying (that has to be learned!!!) and fair gaming has priority. And I thought... no, I'm convinced of the TEAM-project, because of the time I spent here.

At least: With my introduction, I try to offer my services because of this fine TEAM-project. Would somebody do that, if he knows the server rules and used to play that unfair?

For that reasons, I'm wondering, what happend. Otherwise, my own experience is, that in a very fast game, with a lot of players, I see something is going wrong, but I become confused with the nicknames.
In the same round, we talking about here, I saw a player with a heli, who shot in a crowd of OUR team. I don't know, why he did that, may be, it was a very new player or he was new in a heli. But what was totally impossible in that moment: to memorize the name of the player. That happens sometimes.
What I want to say is, maybe it was an error with my nick in combination with my carelessness.

Anyway. I hope, it will be cleared up soon.

Btw. Grüss Gott is ok, but is rarely used outside of bavaria. Guten Tag or Hallo are common.

My ban is over, I'm glad, that Kilemal took the time to investigate the case.

Feuerwehr is the right term and we used to have a very good relationship to the fire-departments here in Berlin. It's influenced by mutual respect and therefore I send you best wishes for you and your department! Keep on coming home well!
