Picked up this boat for cheap ($500) a couple weeks ago. Needs some cosmetic work (paint, carpet, upholstery, etc.) but it seems sound. It's a 1985 Four Winns Horizon 190 w/ Mercruiser 190. I'll post some more pics once I've had a chance to spruce it up a bit.


P.S. I don't know a goddamn thing about boats, but if it has an engine, I can make it go. And the g/f seems to be taking it better than expected !

Aw man ,I used to have an 18 foot galaxy with a tri hull design and a 125 horse inboard outboard engine. I really miss that boat. I'm so jealous! :D

u drive a car on the left hand side, but u drive boats on the right side a little confusing i bet. lol in australia where all right side no matter what your driving. just somthing i found funny. no offence to any one must be aussie humor. but nice boat.

Kilemal;1250']The boat saga continues. This is getting kinda funny . . . .
So I bought the boat for $500 but never got around to picking it up and the guy who's lot it was on kept calling wanting it out of there and I wasn't sure when that was going to happen, or if it even was going to happen, so I put it on Craigslist and sold it for $850.

A week later the guy who's lot it's on calls me wanting to know when the boat is getting picked up, and he's getting a little pissed by now. I told him I sold it but I'd talk to the guy who bought it and find out when he'd be coming by to get it. I called him on the phone and he tells me his truck shit the bed and he has no way to get the boat home and did I know anyone who wanted to buy it from him?

Hee Hee ! I told him I knew someone that would give him $500 cash for it and he said that would be great. So I own the boat again and if my math is correct, I only paid $150 for it this time !

Now I just have to go pick it up !
