PR Party Night. Friday or Saturday?

Just a quick poll so we know the best night to have our Project Reality Party.

Friday Night Fight?

or some other night (keep in mind those that work M-F and have to be up early)

for some reason i cant keep a connection on the nitro server!!! so i wont be able to join you!!! i can keep a connection on the TNT server tho which is strange considering your both USA... not happy as it looks good and i wanted to join in!!!!

I've had problems with the PR server when I had my wirless router hooked up while running the game. No issues with Vanilla or Custom. Don't know if your using wifi.

Well, the people have spoken. With 6 votes, it looks like the Saturday Night Slaughter will be the next PR Party Night. Now, if Steve can do his magic and have our PR server up for that evening, then the bot killings can commence!

9pm EDT Saturday (0200Z Sunday for those of you ahead of us on the clock)

Bill and Jenn will most likely join in about 11pm (8pm their time).

I don't have BF1942 or BF-V, so I don't think I can play it.

Also, PR is totally different that all the other BF mods.

In most BF mods, team work is sort of optional, while in PR it's mandatory!

That's the reason I like it. The good feeling you get when working together as a unit and not a bunch of lone wolfs.

Example: In PR, the Rifleman with Ammo and the HAT kit work as a team to kill the enemy armor.

Sure you can do that solo with a crate nearby, but waiting a full minute between shots is not very effective. For the most part, it takes a minimum two people to do almost everything in PR. To fly the cobra, to man an apc or tank. To take a flag, to construct battlefield fortifications. You must have a squad of two people working together.

it is a bf2 mod just like AIX all you have to do is download it and it can be a lot of fun....

Just didn't want to dload if the not many had it.But if it's an opportunity to get some good Team mass bot killin' time in w/ you fine peeps I'm there.:cool:Anything for some Team tactics. I really love playing this game w/ all of you. It has been an Awesome experience and met some Great Humans on this server.

BF2 mod? My mistake. From the searches I did to find the downloads, all I saw was BF1942 or BFV as the root game. I will have to to the site directly.

Just did. I don't see a version for BF2 V1.50 I do see one for BF2 V1.41.

Does the 1.41 version work with BF2 1.50 ?

you don't need bf2 just the EOD mod download...

here is where you go....don't worry about the patch you have what you need there already...

you will need an installer and the levels - one of each.

this link will put you on the right page for the mod all you have to do is pick a place to download from:)

it does take a while so you may want to do it when you have some time

oh after you download...let me know because we have a fix patch here on the website... it's in the download section but it will have to go in a specific place or you will crash the game if you use some of the tools.

So where do I place the hotfix file.........

Is it left in the main folder of the EOD mod....
Or is it put into the levels folder....
Or somewhere else completely different.

for future reference if anyone needs it

it will go in your

battlefield2/mods/eod/objects

than exchange the file the coincides with the name of the one you downloaded...but keep it in the zipped file like the rest that are in the objects folder.
