Punk buster....

I have been having a'lot of punk buster problems. I have not been on in some day because my CPU is ver slow only 1.6 Ghz an it takes about 5-7 mins some times to load up a map then only to be kicked by punk buster. I wanted to know if you can turn punk buster off for some time so I can be on the server. I know it Is a'lot to ask but, just intill I get a better CPU that can load the map in about 3 mins I would not care about punk buster than. Just for the Vanilla server?

wish we could but the answer to that will be NO with out punkbuster every cheat in bf2 would be in our game screwing with our players.

Sad to say, but . . . .

I turned Punk Buster off one day for a couple hours and spent the entire time doing nothing but banning hacks. I banned more people in that day than we had banned the entire year we ran the games prior to that.

Maybe things are different now - but I kinda doubt it !

Well it was worth asking. I'am going to be on,and off the sever intill I upgrade my pc.

Tinybob, you don't have a PC, you have a CRAY supercomputer stuffed in a PC case...

Sounds like your ram may be the issue. your prcessor isnt the best but run memtest86 and see what it yeilds.
