My apologies to all if some of my posts seem a bit serious, not intended.
I suffer a mild form of Asperger's Syndrome & tend to take things literally. I also tend to speak/write in a literal fashion. (think Sheldon from Big Bang Theory with smaller IQ & Ego)
Frequently people find me 'a bit weird' (particularly the way I speak) until they get to know me, when they find out I'm really quite genuine, friendly & caring.
Asperger's has it's positive side including a phenomenal long-term memory & ability to retain information. I can positively ruin a 'Trivia Night' & memorise number sequences easily (why I have a 32 digit PIN) ;)
I also endure Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, so when I get angry, it's never by half.
I am extremely loyal & honest & can be counted on to 'do the right thing' even when not being watched. I have few, but very loyal & understanding friends for a very long time because of this. :)

Sorry to hear about the PTSD, it's a real bummer.

I also used to play AA up to 2.-something, if you were with a good bunch of people it was great, but I stopped when they made the system requirements too high for my old rig (it was only 2 years old at the time but they thought everyone in the world had a dual-quad-core 10-gig system).

Wow. I only know two people with Asperger's and both are in Oz. You could have to be in Canberra would you? That would just be plain weird. And no worries, on the computer, literal is often best anyways as tones, inflections, etc are not available in text. Had you said nothing of it, wouldn't have thought anything either way (still don't actually).

Welcome to TN and kick back, put your feet up, and enjoy yourself.

Awww shucks, thanks guys
I currently live in a town called Caloundra, approx. 1hr drive North of Brisbane on the East coast of Oz in the State of Queensland.
* tinybob, do you follow the cricket or rugby union/league when Aust. & England play each other?* (Ashes coming soon)
Have lived all over the country, except West Australia & done many different jobs. Never seen so many stars in my life when I worked 'in the outback' (Birdsville), you can actually see the milky way with the naked eye, it's awesome.
Have also worked as a SCUBA instructor in Cairns & Port Douglas & every week the ocean shows you something that takes your breath away.
A friend of mine went to the United States to work a few years ago & needed a medical for his work. The doctor asked if he was from Mars because he had no heavy metals in his system. Small wonder we consider Australia 'the lucky country'.
