What am I doing wrong?

I bought a while a new PC (Windows 7 / 64 system) and now I have a problem. When I click on the Vanilla team Nitro server and play a new map is loaded, I get the 1st upload the information that I can not enter the server (other version). I charge the card for the 2nd times, I have usually no problems. I have installed the PunkBuster Update Tool, but nothing changed. Does anyone still the problem, or better someone knows the solution?

So Battlefield tells you that you have a different version when you try to connect the first time, and on the second connect it works fine? Try to disable your anti-virus temporary.

Hi i have the same problem too. same system as saladin. done the same thing he has done so. still it happens. so i use another way. during loading of the map. i unload the map and joint again. it works. Problem is when i forgot to do that. it will happen again.

Another player had the problem like this too. His pc was ready and loaded on the map before the server was. I believe he disabled auto ready and that fixed it for him. Good luck!

Yes it helped but it did'nt completely cure my problem.

I contacted EA awhile back to find out what was causing this and it pretty much boils down to your PC is to fast, yea thats right too fast, Your PC is loading the map faster then the server so there for you get the modified content, Theres really nothing you can do except for uncheck auto ready and that does'nt completely stop the problem, it's just something you'll have to live with.
